Accept the intense mission and join the all-out Axis vs. Allies contest for battlefront domination. That way, you will wage your own WWII experience leading to a dark Reich's closing in. World War II rages, and nations fall to Germany’s immense power. Fully backed by the Third Reich, SS head Himmler starts to twist science and the occult into an army capable of leading Germany to the frontline domination they seek most.
This game’s Steam CD key puts you in place of William Joseph "B.J." Blazkowicz, a member of a division of secret activities for the free world forces. You will fight and be a part of history in WW2, where evil prevails if good men remain idle.
You will travel with a companion to Egypt and discover that SS head Himmler has Hitler's full support on the job of creating an army capable of annihilating the allies. Now, you will have to deal with this threat.
To reach it, he will twist science and the occult in an intense mission that can culminate in frontline domination. So, on your travel, you must attack the Third Reich and stop Himmler. However, things end up out of control. Blazkowicz and his friend were captured and sent to castle Wolfenstein for interrogation.
Now, battling alone rises the time to act. You must manage to escape the castle and do whatever you can to escape from the black heart of the Third Reich and stop Himmler and his evil plans (or die trying).
As you do your best to avoid world nations falling into German rule, you will perform a series of different missions that include sabotage, assassinations, and retrieval. Combining gameplay with big-screen cinematic effects, you will dive into an intense mission to pierce the black heart of the Reich.
You will be armed with WWII original weapons and others created for the game. Some examples are the German version of the Mini Gun and the Tesla Weapon.
What’s more, there will be a mix of assault and stealth missions ahead of you. You will face different enemies, from German soldiers to undead and experimental creatures, born thanks to Reich's efforts to bring up an army capable of annihilating the allies.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein also has an advanced team-based multiplayer action. On this multiplayer mode, you’ll wage your own WWII adventure in all-out Axis Vs. Allies combats. The players are divided into two teams, fighting for primary and secondary objectives. Generally, the Axis forces defend specific objectives while allied forces try to conquer them.
The graphics may not be the best but represent a great journey in time, back to the Playstation 2/Xbox glory days. The storyline development doesn’t lose to any new narrative and can be really impressive to new players.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein was really important for the FPS genre development, inspiring many other games. Some elements of the game are still present in new titles nowadays. All the players should go and discover why.

Nostalgia factor is strong in this one but how could it not be in a game that is, more or less, 20 years old? It is still a very well put together title. Like, surprisingly. Going through levels felt really good, same with killing those **** ******** that, for some reasons, are also a little bit of zombies or something. I got lost in this game a lot, you must understand. It’s great though, check it out if you want to know what changed in the gaming industry. Spoiler alert - there is a lot of money in gaming nowadays. Then - people did for the art of it. Or so it would seem. Or so I would like to believe.
OMG this was sooo awesome! In this day and age, killing nazis really feels different. Fortunately, when it came out, the whole **** problem were not as big as now, so I guess it must be more satysfying now then it was then. I had a lot of fun, lot of amazing memories with it. I just had to download it. And - it still playable. Probably not the highest quality of graphics but it’s ok, no shame in being a 20-year old game that is not the best looking one you’ve seen in a while. It’s a really interesting how it all changed and I felt good coming back to it. It really puts things in perspective. I had fun! Hope that one day they’ll remake it and not just create a new one. I feel like this would work as a remake pretty well. So yeah - check it out!
Dude, when I saw this game when I was browsing this site, I thought to myself - there is now way that it is what I think it is. There is just no way, man. It can’t be real. Like, it was so long ago, how could this happen. And then - I downloaded it and it is, still, a classic Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Man, I’ve played so much of this game on my old PC with some geforce 2 or something. This was a ground breaking title at the time, you must understand, the level of complexity back in the day in this game was just insane. They really outdone themselves with this one. So I decided to go back to it and it’s just so hilarious. Those **** basterds with no legs, just floating, ****** army on space or something, **** “ladies” in latex trying to **** you with a whip. That is a stuff that only a sick mind could think of and I would like to thank this sick mind for coming up with this stuff. Man, it’s just hilarious. I loved every minute of it, it was this good, honestly. I’ve never played such a weird, yet captivating game ever since. I must check out these new Wolfensteins, I’ve heard they are as wack as this one was back in the day. So yeah, it’s a 10/10, people should never stop playing it, we would all be in a better place right now!
